Privacy policy

This policy explains how Ground Nomads, operated by Evolve, LLC (“Ground Nomads,” “we,” “us”), handles information collected through groundnomads.com and our driver application pages.

01What we collect

What you give us. When you apply, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your mobile phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to give it
• Your answer to “What are you doing now?” (for example, driving a route or working the sort)
• Whether you agreed to be contacted by call and text

What comes with your visit. Along with your application, we record:

• Which terminal area’s page you applied from
• The address of the page and the time you applied
• Ad-campaign details in the link you clicked, such as campaign name and source, and click identifiers added by Meta or Google (fbclid, gclid)

Like any website, the server that hosts this site may log basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. This site does not set its own cookies.

02How we use it

• To contact you by phone call, text message or email about driving opportunities you applied for
• To decide whether you’re a fit for an open route and move your application forward
• To understand which ads and terminal areas bring in applicants, so we spend our advertising money well
• To keep records we’re required to keep, and to protect against fraud or misuse

Any background or driving-record check requires your separate written authorization. Submitting this application is not that authorization.

03Text messages and calls

If you check the consent box, you agree that Ground Nomads may call and text you at the number you provide, including by automated means, about driving opportunities. Consent is not a condition of employment.

• Message frequency varies based on your application.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

04Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run the process for us. These include the company that hosts this website, the customer-relationship software that stores applications and sends texts and emails, and the phone carriers that deliver them. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Our recruiting team, who contact and screen applicants.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or when needed to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.
• A new owner, if the business is ever sold or reorganized. This policy would still apply to your information.

05Advertising

We advertise open driver positions on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube, and through other online ad networks. Those platforms decide who sees an ad using information they collect under their own privacy policies, which can include the general location of a device. We don’t receive your location or your identity from those platforms. When you click an ad, the link may carry campaign details and a click identifier, which we record with your application as described above.

06How long we keep it

We keep application information for as long as we need it to recruit for open routes, and after that only as long as the law requires us to keep hiring records. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).

07Your choices

• Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
• See, correct or delete your information: email us at hello@groundnomads.com. We’ll confirm the request comes from you and respond within 30 days.
• Stop calls or emails: tell the recruiter, or email the address above.

08Security

Applications are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored with service providers that restrict access. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what we need to contact you about driving work.

09Age

These are driving jobs for adults. This site isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

10Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
